MINImax Tinyverse Basic Guide
If you take a closer look at the map, you will notice several structures on the top left and corner is your own base, and the enemy’s base is on the opposite side of the map.
Each player has a tower on the top of the map and a Guardian at the bottom. Both are really important: Try to defend them carefully.
In MINImax Tinyverse, your Champion will automatically spawn 12 seconds after a match begins. The Champion will automatically walk toward your enemy’s tower.
You are not able to control the Champion, but as a God, you can give them a hand.
You can pick up your Champion clicking on the Icon and throw it into the battlefield! That’s a nice way to save it from a critical situation or send it right into the heart of the battlefield.
You are not able to keep your champion in your hands for more than 5 seconds. If you wait too long, it will automatically be thrown back into the ground.
Since you want to prevent the death of your Champion, you can make it wait for back-up clicking on the icon(1). If you click one more time, the Champion will start to move again.
Make good use of both commands to keep your Champion in and out of the battlefield whenever you wish. Last, but certainly not least, every Champion has an active skill you can use by clicking on the Icon2.
Tip: Every Champion active Skill is different, so make sure to choose the one that fits your style!
You can check every Champion’s actives skill in their information page when you make your team settings. You can use your rations to deploy Troopers into the battlefield, but you are not able to control them once they are deployed on the map.
You can send them within the designated area shown by the red lines on the ground. Depending on where you throw them, the Troopers will follow a different path going to the Tower or the Guardian of your enemy.
Where you deploy your Troopers is an important part of your strategy. You will notice that each time you destroy an enemy’s structure, the available perimeter to deploy your troopers expands.
Destroying a structure not only gives you a point, but it also gives you an advantage on the map.
You may have noticed that Bathtub Bog and Table Cliff both have water areas. Basically, your Champion and Troopers would be slowed down in the water, but for some troopers such as the Rapanossan Tribem, they walk even faster in these areas! Use that to your advantage!
You can also interact with the map to change the path of your troopers using Miracle Ramp or Rainbow Fence.
Rainbow Fence would block the way of the troopers and Miracle Ramp will allow them to climb up and downhills. You can use these to shift the landscapes to your advantage.
Basically, destroying your opponent’s structure is the key to win a battle.
- Taking down a tower will give you 1 point,
- Destroying the guardian grants you 2 points.
- If you destroy the enemy’s base, you will get 5 points and an immediate victory.
A game lasts 4 minutes and is divided into 3 phases:
- 4:00 – 02:00 – Phase 1
- 2:00 – 01:00 – Phase 2
- 1:00 -00:00 – Phase 3
If both players have the same score at the end of the 4 minutes, they will enter a sudden death phase. Sudden death lasts for 2 minutes and the first player to destroy a structure wins.
In the Tinyverse, Day and Night change every 60 seconds. Different times affect your Champion and Troopers Creaea are stronger at night and Aillai would get stronger during the day. The time changes frequently, so try to time you Troopers well and capitalize on it.
You probably noticed that each time day and night changes, a random item appears on the map. You can get a nice buff by getting your champion in the area of the item before your enemy does.
Each item gives you a different bonus:
- The Slayer’s sword would increase the Champion’s attack.
- The Winged boots Increase the Champion’s overall speed.
- The Cursed Cauldron reduces the attack of enemies within the area.
- Blessed Staff Reduces the damage taken by allies within the area.
These buff can be a big game-changer for you So keep an eye on them and try to grab on next time you see it.
There are 3 different maps for you to play based on your level.
The first map available is the Bookshelf hollow.
You will then unlock the Bathtub Bog at level 4 and Table Cliff on level 9.
If you want to play the maps right now, you can! All the maps are accessible through Custom Match.
The same game rules apply to the 3 maps, but since the layout is different, they will probably require coming up with different strategies and team build.
